Natural Teeth Whitener
There are many products that act as a natural teeth whitener so you don't have to visit your seattle dentist's office. Understanding the chemical structure of the tooth and how products affect and damage the teeth is vital to choosing the right recipe for natural products. Learning what ingredients to avoid can be beneficial in maintaining not only a whiter smile but also a healthy smile.
One often mentioned natural teeth whitener is clove oil. Clove oil is also noted for its ability to reduce tooth pain. One recipe simply calls for adding a drop of clove oil to the toothpaste and toothbrush before brushing. Whiter teeth will follow.
One recipe calls for hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and optional flavoring ingredients. After brushing with the mixture, allow the mixture to remain on the teeth for at least two minutes. You should never swallow this mixture. After the two minutes, brush again with your regular toothpaste. Be aware that there are different types of peroxide. Discuss any questions with your dentist. This treatment can be done on a weekly, monthly, or as needed basis at a bellevue dentist. It is not recommended, however, to be used more than once a week.
If your teeth are sensitive, this natural teeth whitener may not be for you. Also if you have dental problems, this recipe could make your gums appear white for a time. As always, you should consult your dentist or doctor about home remedies or other treatments, especially if you have a medical condition or ongoing health issues.
